Portion has a lot to do with a healthy relationship with food. Eat enough for your body. You don't need to over feed yourself. Serve the right portions and slowly indulge! You'll be surprised how eating slow can help you feel full off of correct portions.

Drink water before eating:

Drinking water before you eat can help for you to feel full faster and also stop from overeating. Try to drink a glass of water 30 minutes before you eat. This will also help with digestion.

Eat until your satisfied

Eating until you feel physically sick is not the way you want to feel after a meal.

Knowing when you have had enough to the point where you are satisfied is an important trait to recognize. Not eating past that point is important.
